Xiong Xianghui, Male, a native of Fengyang, Anhui Province, born in April 1919 in Ye County (Laizhou today), Shandong Province, with the original name Xiong Huiquan.

1949, Deputy Director General of Information Department and Deputy Director General of General Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China

1954, Director of Information Office of the Chinese Mission to the Geneva Conference on the Korean question and Indo-China

1961, Consultant of the Chinese Mission to the Geneva Conference on Laos

1962-1967, Charge d’affaires of the Chinese Office of the Charge d’affaires in the United Kingdom

November 1970, Deputy Head of Division 2 of the Headquarters of General Staff of the People’s Liberation Army

August 1972, first Chinese Ambassador to Mexico

1973, Vice Minister of the Investigation Department of CPC Central Committee

1978, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee and Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs

He was member of the Standing Committees of the Fifth and Seventh CPPCC National Committee and member of the Sixth CPPCC National Committee.
