THE WARLORDS IN CINEMAS FROM NOVEMBER 7TH
2008/10/30

WINNER OF EIGHT HONG KONG FILM AWARDS – INCLUDING BEST PICTURE,

BEST ACTOR (JET LI) & BEST DIRECTOR.

Fresh from its big success at the International Box Office (over $40 million dollarsto date) and sweeping the board at the Hong Kong Film Awards, THE WARLORDS now hits UK screens from the 7th November. A dazzling combination of breathtaking choreographed set pieces and acclaimed performances, THE WARLORDS is a stunning historical epic starring screen legend Jet Li, alongside Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro (reunited for the first time since international smash hit House of Flying Daggers).

Jet Li plays the only survivor of his battalion after betrayal at the hands of his allies. Taken in by a pair of charismatic bandits - played by Lau and Kaneshiro – the three take a pact to become blood brothers, and are catapulted to the status of warlords after a string of impressive victories on the battlefield. But love, politics and ego threaten to pull apart the unity of the band of brothers as the on-going civil war threatens to pull the entire nation apart. Inspired by the late 19th century events of the warlords of the Qing Dynasty of China.

To celebrate its release we have 3 pairs of tickets to an exclusive preview screening in a cinema in London's West End on the evening of 4th November.

To apply simply send an email with your name to warlords@metrodomegroup.com
