H.E. Ambassador Liu Xiaoming Meets with Chairman Peter Grauer of Bloomberg L.P.
   On April 26, Ambassador Liu Xiaoming met with Peter Grauer, Chairman of Bloomberg L.P. at the Embassy. Mr. Constantin Cotzias, Bloomberg's Global Head of Government Affairs and Mr. Alan Donnelly, Senior European Advisor to Bloomberg were present.

   Mr. Grauer said that China is the world's second largest economy, and one of the most important and fastest-growing countries. The wonderful speech delivered by President Xi Jinping at the Davos World Economic Forum Annual Meeting was enlightening and energizing. China has been playing a leading role in promoting globalization and international cooperation. Attaching great importance to developing its relations with China, Bloomberg will further focus on China's role in the fields of economy, finance, climate change, global governance, and international cooperation, and hopes to deepen cooperation with China.

   Ambassador Liu briefed the guests on China-UK cooperation in the fields of economy, finance, investment, environmental protection and RMB internationalization, and exchanged views with them on the influence of Brexit on UK-EU, UK-US and UK-China relations. Ambassador Liu expressed his hope that Bloomberg, as a world-renowned information platform, will cooperate with China actively and continue to show the world a comprehensive and objective picture of a real and progressing China.

   Ambassador Liu also expounded his views when asked about China-US relations, the current situation on the Korean Peninsula, the G20 Summit, etc.
