Minister Ma said that Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy is an important component of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and the fundamental basis and guide for China’s diplomatic efforts for a New Era. Based on an overall framework and core principle of “persistent efforts in ten aspects”, it defines the historic mission and overall goals of China’s diplomatic work, provides a series of guidelines and principles that must be upheld, and offers deep insight into the essential requirements, inherent laws, and advancement of China’s major-country diplomacy in the new era. The Chinese diplomats would thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy and continuously push forward China’s major-country diplomacy with Chinese Characteristics, so as to serve the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and promote human progress.

Minister Ma gave a vivid and in-depth interpretation of the connotation and significance of the “ten persistent efforts”.
