Chinese New Year Celebration Gains Popularity and Brings Warmth to Britain

The 29th January was the seventh day of the first month in China’s Lunar Calendar. Although it was freezing cold in London, the Trafalgar Square in the city center was immersed in a jubilant and warm festive atmosphere with the resounding drum beat. The Chinese New Year celebration for the Year of the Dragon was being held here.
