Xi Jinping Leaves Beijing for State Visits to France, Serbia and Hungary

On the morning of May 5, 2024, President Xi Jinping left Beijing by special plane for state visits to France, Serbia and Hungary at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron of the Republic of France, President Aleksandar Vučić of the Republic of Serbia and President Tamás Sulyok and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary.

Xi Jinping's entourage includes Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping, Cai Qi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, and Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister.
